Your logo isn’t your brand
A logo is the signature. The brand is everything you say before and after it.
Most first calls start with someone asking for a new logo. Usually what they really want is for people to understand them faster, trust them sooner and remember them later. A logo helps with that, but it carries maybe a tenth of the load. The rest comes from how you write, the colours you return to, how your photos feel and how your website behaves when someone is in a hurry.
That’s why we start brand projects with words, not shapes. We write down what you do, who it’s for and what you never want to sound like. Once that’s clear, the visual decisions get easier and faster. The logo ends up simpler, because it doesn’t have to explain everything on its own. It just has to sign off on a brand that’s already doing the talking.
